When I was about ten years old, my auntie from Australia visited us while I was living in Amsterdam. She gave me a book with pictures of Australia.
As I was going through that book, a picture of Uluru was in the middle. Big and magical.
I said to myself, I will be a very lucky girl if one day, I can visit that rock…
I always kept the book. And looked at it from time to time.
Six years ago we started thinking about living abroad.
We started planning and believing.
3,5 years ago we arrived in Australia.
I kept a photo off Uluru as a screensaver on my phone.
And this week it will happen.
I will visit this sacred place.
Not just by myself but I can share the experience with my family. I feel so excited that I think I will cry once I will get there.
Sometimes you just have to start with planting the seed. And just keep believing it will happen.
What childhood dreams did you gave up on? It is never too late to plant the seed NOW!
